  • To help pupils develop an awareness, knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the Christian teachings

  • To help pupils develop a knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the growth of Christianity, of its worship, prayer and religious language

  • To give pupils an introduction to two world religions other than Christianity

  • To help pupils develop the ability to think and make judgements about morality, to relate Christian moral principles to personal and social life, and to identify values and attitudes that influence behaviour

GCSE Religious Studies

At KS4 we offer CCEA GCSE Religious Studies full course & short course.

GCSE Full Course
Two units are studied over 2 years. 100% Exam.
Boys will complete an exam on unit 9 at the end of Year 11 and an exam on unit 8 at the end of Year 12. Each exam will last 90 minutes and is worth 50% of the overall mark.

GCSE Short Course

One unit is studied over 2 years. 100% Exam.
Boys will complete an exam on unit 9 at the end of Year 12. The exam will last 90 minutes and is worth 100% of the overall mark.

Paul is a vetted Squarespace Expert and a Leader of the Squarespace Circle Community where he tries to inspire and engage a vibrant community of creatives. Paul studied Software Engineering as well as Electronic Engineering at University, and Photography at College, before working in a variety of exciting roles in the creative industry before he founded SF Digital, building trusted products to help Squarespace creatives increase sales, engage visitors and improve user experience for their clients.
